As you may know, CRT "Picture Tube" televisions and computer monitors are fast becoming obsolete, and nearly impossible to purchase, or even get repaired. Unfortunately, the Brunswick system uses an older RGB-CGA video signal that is not at all compatible with most monitors made in recent times.

I have over 33 years experience repairing bowling center electronics. I've purchased and tested just about every video converter available, and none of them measured up very well for this application. I was finally able to get one manufacturer to fine-tune their product to work properly. These kits are for, and have been tested with Brunswick AS-80, AS-90, and AS-K front-desk systems.

I'm offering two options below. If you already have an extra working "VGA" or "SVGA" compatable computer monitor available (Flat-panel or Tube-type), option #1 is the least expensive. Such monitors can often be purchased fairly cheaply at thrift stores also.
See the note about monitors below.

>>>Package #1, $229.00<<<
1- Converter box with power supply.
1- Custom-made cable to connect from your MCC 1.5 console, to the converter box.
1- Detailed instructions written by an American, in English.

>>>Package #2, $279.00<<<

1- Converter box with power supply.
1- Custom-made cable to connect from your MCC 1.5 console, to the converter box.
1- REFURBISHED 15" LCD SVGA computer monitor with cables (various brands). 17" available for $15 more.
1- Detailed instructions written by an American, in English.

NOTE
: The reason for the "refurbished" monitor.

Your current Brunswick monitor displays in the same size "standard"  (height to width ratio) as regular TV signals have for decades. In recent years, the "widescreen" format has taken over both computer monitors and regular TV. It is becoming difficult to find new LCD monitors that are not widescreen. I have good source of standard-size refurbished LCD monitors, allowing the info on your screen to display properly. (Refurb. monitors may have minor cosmetic signs of use.) If you should decide to use a new widescreen monitor, you can either leave the converter as-is, which will display properly but not use the full width of the screen, OR a simple flip of a switch on the converter box will make your image fill up the whole screen, but the info will appear somewhat "stretched out". Converter box supports VGA, SVGA, and XGA monitors..
